Part of our team had the opportunity to enjoy a technical conference with Joan Cortés, ElRing’s sales director in Spain, at its plant in Reus (Tarragona). In addition, they were accompanied by several rectifiers from different parts of Spain.
As you know, ElRing is one of our main suppliers of engine spare parts such as cylinder head gaskets, gasket sets, cylinder head bolts… mainly applicable to passenger car engines.

OUR EXPERIENCE AT ELRING
On the first day, they attended a training by the technical trainer Joaquim Götz in which, after a brief introduction to the ElRing brand, they were shown the different manufacturing processes of the different cylinder head gaskets, their characteristics, as well as the different existing crankshaft seals and their most suitable applications. In addition, attendees were able to ask their questions and queries first-hand to the instructor as part of the training class.
Afterwards, we were able to enjoy a dinner together, where the participants could share experiences and strengthen the bonds of cooperation in a relaxed manner.
The following morning, they visited the production plant where they were shown all the manufacturing processes of the different gaskets produced there, as well as the different quality controls carried out.
To conclude this experience, we took advantage of the trip to the Costa Dorada to take a boat trip along the beach of Cambrils, which served as the finishing touch.
